Ms. Neicy 

 

Born and raised in Houston Texas, a mother, a daughter, a college graduate, and now an author, Ms. Neicy has been truly blessed. She was born November 27, 1990 in Park Plaza hospital. Throughout her earlier years, she did not enjoy reading whatsoever. She excelled in school always, but never really enjoyed reading books.

It wasn’t until her high school years did she become addicted to urban novels. She'd always enjoyed the happily ever after endings because she'd never really seen happily ever after in real life. She would read stories until 3 and 4 in the morning and have to be up for school at 6; she was that addicted.

It wasn’t until sometime in 2013 did she pick up a pen and try perfecting her craft. She never really followed through with the first short story she wrote but, tried again in 2014.

Shan presented her the opportunity of a lifetime when she said her story seemed interesting and she wanted to publish the book. Ms. Neicy was thrilled. She had not come up with a title or anything but was determined to make her dreams a reality.

Her sister definitely pushed her work. When she just needed a listening ear she was there, so big shout outs to her. Ms. Neicy is forever grateful for this opportunity and would like for everyone to check out her debut novel “An Icy Love” and tell her what you think. She is thankful for everyone who believe in her and gives honors to God because without Him, she wouldn’t be where she is today.
